2025 Downtown & Neighborhood Trick or Treat set for Oct. 30

AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation invites the community to celebrate 25 years of magic at Auburn’s final Downtown Trick or Treat. The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. in downtown Auburn.

Neighborhood Trick or Treat will also be held on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. for safety during the Auburn University home football game weekend.

Downtown Trick or Treat, a beloved fall tradition, will feature trick-or-treating, live entertainment and festive surprises as families and friends gather to bid farewell to an event that has delighted generations.

Festivities will include a costume contest beginning at 6:30 p.m. with categories for children, families and groups. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their most creative, spooky or whimsical costumes and join the fun.

Downtown Trick or Treat is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the final chance to experience this cherished community event.

Street Closures: During the event, Magnolia Avenue will be closed between Wright and Gay streets, and College Street will be closed between Thach and Tichenor avenues. Street closure times will be announced closure to the event.
